I only went to Roma - La Cittą Eterna, and I was there for Culture not for the sun (when one is Maltese he should rather seek a cloudy holiday). European Tourism should be a Cultural one. I notice that Germanics that visit Malta are generally here for the weather, other Europeans, in particular Italians are here for more highbrow reasons, perhaps except those Italians studying English in Malta.
