You have a tradition more than 200 years that being "French" has nothing to do with ancestry - since French revolution. I'm not saying everyone thinks like that, but it's more wide-spread and easier to brainwash people with it.
If I was French, I wouldn't use the symbols like that 3 color flag or your anthem and wouldn't praise guys like Voltaire. You see this is a problem I see, that your national identity is full of wrong guys and symbols. Nationalists must distance yourself from that in every way. My advice - look trough history, who's a French hero and who's not, what part of your history you can be proud of and what is a shame - re-define your national identity and you'll have a new definition of who's French and who's not as well.
I know that guys on Stirpes know what's what, I'm talking about nationalists in general. It's just an advice how to promote the idea that Frenchman is someone who has French ancestry.
