Default Re: Prince Andrew rebukes America over Iraq

Quote:
He said that because of Britain's imperial history, it had experience of many of the foreign policy challenges now facing the US.

"If you are looking at colonialism, if you are looking at operations on an international scale, if you are looking at understanding each other's culture, understanding how to operate in a military insurgency campaign - we have been through them all," Prince Andrew said.

"We've won some, lost some, drawn some. The fact is there is quite a lot of experience over here which is valid and should be listened to."

The aftermath of the Iraq conflict fuelled a "healthy scepticism" towards what is said in Washington, and a feeling of "why didn't anyone listen to what was said and the advice that was given".
Because US politicians only 'listen' to the Israel lobby, and it's proponents such as AIPAC whose influence is the centerpiece of US foreign policy, the advice of those like Prince Andrew, or even the lessons learned during the Vietnam conflcit, are casually dismissed as "irrelevant".

We are now seeing jewish influence in America taken to a whole new level as the zionists have commandeered U.S. Foreign policy... In their book The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy' John J Mearsheimer, Ph.D., Dept of Political Science, University of Chicago, and Stephen M Walt, Ph.D., Dean of the John F Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, make the case this is so...

The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy (pdf)

The Israel Lobby (condensed version of the above) at London Review of Books

Other publications document much the same thing but on a more general level.

The Power of Israel in the United States

This impeccably documented evidence points to an undeniable conclusion that the best of interests of the state of Israel was the overriding factor in the decision to invade Iraq, NOT the best interests of the USA, and the so-called "war on terrorism" is little more than a war on the enemies of the state of Israel, AND it's allies...

This is the case DESPITE the pronouncements of the founding fathers of the USA...

"Tis our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world." ~ George Washington
