How do you figure that? Can you explain why then we can understand them pretty well, I personally can understand at least 50% of Macedonian and Bulgarian for that matter, if not more and I've never learned any of them nor I had any contact with people who speak these languages.
Also Macedonian is cross between Bulgarian and Serbian.
