I fear that the immigration into these small rural and often Highland communities rebuilding the local economies, (which can be argued were destroyed by the likes of the clearances), may start to turn my fellow people pro-immigration. Something that bothers me about Scottish Nationalists and Scottish Nationalism, is it is aimed more at an Anti-Englishness more than anything else. Nationalists once claimed the immigration of English into small traditional Scottish villages and towns were and did destroy the heritage of the areas in question, (using heritage in a broader sense of Culture and Language), but here they will simply turn the other cheek and let the exact same thing happen!
