Actually I wander if the roots of the Hellenic Civilisation are not as old, if not older than those of the Hebraic one or that both Hellenic (via pre-hellenic settlers i nthe balkan) and Hebrews did not share some cultural patterns inherited from the first agriculturalists of the middle east

Plato talked in his dialogues (I do not remenber if was Thymeas or in Critias) of a Demi-uge god who was father of all the other Gods; I wander if the shrine to the unknown god mentioned by Paul was not in fact a shrine built for this Demiurge of Plato
