The Muslims are being used as a scapegoat in this matter.
the real culprits are our homegrown PC brigade who are determined to create a society driven by pure materialism. It is these people who are stopping at nothing to effect the wholesale secularisation of our socities.
The Muslims and other "minorities" are always used as the excuse (and perhaps a small minority of them are actively whipped up just to give an air of credibility).
We have to rip down religious symbols, outlaw prayers, ban religious festivals and observences because we don't want to offend Muslims, Buddhists, Satanists, etc. what they really mean is that it offends them, but they want to use others as the excuse.
I remember a Muslim once writing into a national newspaper a few years back, saying that the suggestion to ban Christmas was absolutely ridiculous.
That she understood she was living in a traditionally Christian country, that she expected them to have Christian traditions, and it didn't offend her one bit.
What did offend her were the PC figures in authority using people like her as an excuse to further their own aims.
