I guess why I didnt understand it is that you assume that it is.
Look at Persian and English. Two Indo-European languages. Many similarities. Such as lip and lab, both means the same.

Thats enough evidence to prove the whole Indo-European hypothesis having at least some truth to it. Not that I was trying to prove that, I was merely showing that all Indo-European languages have shared vocabulary, and it isnt so unique for Germanic languages.
