Nothing new. It is well known for decades. Chiefly women from Islamic countries, who lived in Europe and America for some time and consequently adopted some...customs...of those modern societies, once they come back to their home countries, if they want to marry they must have it "fixed", because otherwise no-one would marry them.

Obviously. First passing through Sodoma and Gomorrha and then trying to "fix" it, is not a sign that a person in question has any sense of dignity.
