Neither Günther Grass nor José Saramago are heros of the politically incorrect. They are no political incorrect but the opposite. They are system fundamentalists.
The Iberian federation that Saramago has spoken of is a poor concept that ignores the foundations and degrades the true meaning of it.
As for the picaresque, it is a literary genre unique to Spain which is only related to a society that arose from the misruling of useless monarchs.
