Further, it should be reminded that when King Juan Carlos said "and why don't you shut up?", he was replying macaco Chávez for he was having his mouth full of demands of "respect" to Venezuela (in the classic leftist usage of such demands), while at the same time he was disrespecting PM Zapatero... which would have been alright with me had it not been the case that Zapatero was there representing Spain, whether we like that or not.

So, the King's words should be read as "and [if you want respect] why don't you shut up [and show respect to others]?"

It is advisable not to fall in the trap of cheering someone like Chávez beyond what's reasonable, only because some details that might be likeable. One should keep at an equilibrated distance, unless you want to become another Zapatero. Which is to say another pro-banana fool.
Well, Mynydd, I’m a desperate man. A desperate man looking into the abyss. We desperate men, have no time for luxury. You either act for or against nation slaying globalism..

Now, Chavez may reckon he’s Athuluapia, Lord of the Universe or whatever! If that’s the case, more the power to him. My interest in him lies solely in his ability to enrage the globalists. And in that he’s got a little niche going on there that I acknowledge as positive..

As an aside it’s interesting that you ascribe a minimal theoretical legitimacy to your government. I have no such attachment to mine. The Dublin government are packed with the most contemptible creatures. At every level they invalidate themselves and I confer no more right upon them to represent Ireland, than I have the right to represent the people of Outer Mongolia. The more they wilfully injure the nation that I love, the more they can burn, in my book anyway..
