Yes, God is omniscient and omnipotent, He just can't be ruled by any law, as He is the One that has created the laws of nature.

Right, they simply can't rule out God. Their fanatic attempts to claim His non-existence don't proove, but strongly suggest, the work of "The Great Architect". Evolution has a unique direction, from raw to complex. Nothing random here. When random is suggested by a theory (of any kind), it's becase this theory is reaching its limits. Random is like watching the horizon, it's a deceptive perspective effect.

Indeed. The only "great" thinker who has defended materialism was Karl Marx. But even if he was a great economist, he was the meanest philosopher.
