Re: Morocco recalls its ambassador from Spain
The cities of Ceuta and Melilla are not a remnant of any colonial empire. They were a part of Spain not only before Morocco existed, but even before Islam existed.
It was some Julianus, Governor of Ceptem (Ceuta) who arranged the meeting of the treacherous Visigothic faction of Witiza's family and the Sephardic Jews, with the Arab Governor of Northern Africa, Musa, to send Muslim troops into Spain.
Anyway, Morocco is a preference allied of the United States. It always has been. Even the annexation of Western Sahara was done with the support of America. The same Americans who tell Europe to wage wars in the Middle East in the name of a contructed western civilisation, also create a powerful threat at the southern borders of Europe.
Ceuta and Melilla should be strongly militarized, as they used to be. They are outposts of Europe for its defense. Not some non-European Jewish state in the Middle East called Israel.
