In Spain we have the same problem with the political term "nationalist". A Spanish nationalist is, generally understood, a man who want a totally centralised state, with only one language and only one culture allowed. Also, a nationalist is a man who want more autonomy to his region and/or who prefer more his region than Spain. I don't support this idea. I support the idea of "Las Espaņas"(The Spains); Spain is the common live project of the Iberian peoples, every part of Spain, is Spain, regardless of the other parts. Catalan or Basque are Spanish languages at the same level than Castilian.
I'm not agree with the term "conservative" to define myself, the conservatism was logic in XIXth century, when the traditional values were still alive. Now, be conservative (at least in Spain) is support a strange form of liberal-conservatism, that is only a form of capitalist "modern progressism" with a Demo-Christian mask. I support the Traditional values, the values that the History has hand down to us. Now, the prevailing values are the paper-based values of the Enlightenment, the values of the French Revolution. I don't want to conserve this.
Socially, my reference are the Socialist part of the German National-Socialism. I'm not interested in the Nationalist part, because is a Germanic Nationalism strange for the Spanish peoples. But, the social achievements of the III Reich are a referece for me. I'm also interested in the Italian Fascism and in the Spanish Revolutionary ideas, like Falangism.
I can define me as a Revolutionary Traditionalist, or a Revolutionary Reactionary who want to construct a modern Nation based in the Traditional values.
