Default Re: Eurabia?

Proponents of the Eurabia theory state some truths about what has been happening in Europe for he past thirty years (demographics immigration etc.), but at the same time they fail (intentionally?) to understand the root causes of all of this. And the root cause of the present-day demise of the European nations is precisely this universalist ideology of the modern West, of this glorious civilization that they purport to be defending from external threats to its very existence.

USA are responsible for all what is happennng today as much as European corrupt politicians from Brussels, because, let's not forget, both of these two entities still operate within the framework of the same system, despite of some leftist criticisms and invectives occasionally directed against the USA by certain EU politicians.

Bat Yeor and her ilk are part of the problem and not of the solution.

The only rational framework inside which the demise of the European civilization can be fought against are concrete nations with their historical heritage and sense of common appartenance, whilst the abstractions like "values", "way of life", "West", can hardly ignite anyone to the resistance. Especially due to the fact that those who are mostly at ease with the present-day civilizational order, ie. liberals, are least likely to give a fig about the preservation of either nation or civilization.
