Repatriation is a non-starter - you have 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th generation afro-carribean and asian 'Britons'. The only feasable option is to encourage a 'civic-nationalism' for these ethnic groups, where they identify with the indiginous population. Its either that or some sort of ethnic-separatism, which in a place like the UK is impractacle and would lead to massive social upheaval.

Yes, there is exactly the same problem in the French Republic.
The situation is even more pronounced here, I think, since immigrant minorities are somewhat more numerous and also that, officially, there is no difference between all French citizens, regardless of their background.
For exemple, it is illegal to make official ethnic census.
