Default Re: NASHI movement for dictator Putin

All the 3 Baltic states are doing better in the EU than under the USSR. Economic growth in these countries is fantastic (see below) and of course, being an ethno-nationalist, I prefer small homogeneously-ethnic nations. I still have to find one educated ethnic Estonian, ethnic Lithuanian or ethnic Latvian who wants to go back under communist USSR.

Quote:
In 2004, for example, Estonia grew by 7.8% in gross domestic product, while Latvia grew by 8.5% and Lithuania by 7.3%. In 2005 economic growth accelerated even more, reaching 10.2% in Latvia, 10.5% in Estonia and 7.6% in Lithuania. All three countries by February 2006 saw their rates of unemployment falling below average EU values. Additionally, Estonia is among the ten most liberal economies in the world and in 2006 switched from being classified as an upper-middle income economy to a high-income economy by the World Bank. All three countries joined the European Union in May 2004, and all three are slated to adopt the Euro at some point around 2010.
