That was an earlier era when NATO was actually needed to counter the Soviet threat. Those days are over and NATO should have been disbanded rather than expanded.
The Baltic states should not put much trust in the US/UK factions now in power. All evidence points to a revival of isolationism in both countries in the next few years.
