That is true; irresponsible explotaition is the threaten in the short term; Overpopultation might be the threaten in the lmiddle or moderately long term and that is probably the purpose of a few overpopulation warners: to try to seek for the solution now, while we are in time before we are confronted to the problem for real, for once the overpopulation, what to then? we canot just "send back the spares"
