Default Re: What is Slavic?

For examples serbians, croatians, chechs, slovenians, slovakians are also darker than poles, belorussians, russians but we all consider ourselves slavs. There arent 'fair' south european countries. As much as you go to the north the much ligther the peoples are.Its not unusual that bulgarians arent so fair.Tell me one(1!) south european country with a light people? You cannot!Thats not a clue! Our history is closely related to the common slavic history and that cannot be rejected.Pliska and Preslav(capitals of medieval Bulgaria) are ancient slavic villages. There were many slavic tribes which inhabited the Balcan peninsula in 6-7 century AD.This is historically proven.Cyrril and Methodius were also slavs from the bulgarian group(soon the historians revealed that secret). In our folklore there are numerous slavic legends and myths. We all know for Baba Yaga, the villas, samovillas and so on."Veda Slovena" is a famous bulgarian slavic book which is created in Bulgaria and contains numerous slavic songs and tales from the Rhodoppy moutain. There are many more examples of the slavic culture and traditions. If you want to learn more, ask wikipedia.
