Personally, I think that Asian food and restaurants stink from far afield. Except for Japanese food, which I like.

Anyway. I like my meat blue and preferably a t-steak. I love steak tartare. Lamb chops too. All products from pork, mostly cured but some even smoked. I also like fresh fish grilled but also boiled. Shellfish? Sure. I like all vegetables except for artichokes. Mostly I enjoy traditional dishes with lentils, chickpeas or beans with meat in them. Cheeses I prefer the stronger taste ones (a cheese that does not taste to cheese? bwargh!). Eggs? fried with chips. Stews, broths from the stews or fish broths, ... Rice? Of course, it is the traditional dish here (nah.. not the lousy and multicolour paella for tourists).

One 'exotic' thing I like.. oats porridge.
