I live in Québec (Québec city), but it is far from impossible that I move (along with my companion, who agrees) to Northern France someday. For the whole "Normandie" thing, it originates in the fact that it is the region that gave Québec most of its founding colons (I also like to think myself as an old stock Norman, because my norman ancestry dates back to the middle of the 17th century, which is quite old even for New World standards).
