Although I would hardly call it an 'obsession', from my perspective, it runs in line with the preservation of the nations which constitute Europe. Isn't that what Nationalism and Stirpes is about?

What business is it of yours? You shouldn't concern yourself with such things. As Carl Sagan would say, we live on a pale blue dot in the vast emptiness of space and yet there are still narrow-minded people who wish to tell consenting people where they can and can't put their sex organs.
It is made my business when homosexuals parade their [perverted] sexual orientation around my family and I. As I have already stated, my concern is not the few homosexuals who choose to be respectful of the Christian values that most others hold by keeping their homosexuality to themselves.

My concern is those who take every opportunity to reaffirm that everyone around them is aware of their 'gayness', which there are certainly no shortage of. This is the overzealous homosexuality that we can find in the aforementioned 'gay pride' parades and homosexual communities, and this is what I am interested in removing in the fashion of stricter laws or entirely outlawing public homosexuality.

And in regards to Carl Sagan, the same logic could be applied to 'narrow-minded' Nationalists who seek to preserve their ethnic and cultural identities (which this subject certainly pertains to) rather than accepting immigrants and riff-raff from all corners of the globe. In my mind, there is nothing 'narrow-minded' about a European Nationalist wanting to preserve their nation's Christian origins.

You're the one who has a problem with those homosexuals and their 'demented antics'. But hey, if you're comfortable with the idea that there might be closet homosexuals lurking around on this forum then that's one step towards progress.
I'm neither comfortable nor uncomfortable about it. I'm content with the fact that, if they exist, they keep it to themselves and that they aren't rewarded with a section of the forum dedicated to homosexuality.

Quote:
How can you be sure? If you're comfortable in your sexuality then why the preoccupation with the disgusting things gay men do in their free time? Why do you spend so much time thinking about that?
How did I know such implications would be made? And who says I spend much of my time thinking about it? To me, it is a natural reaction no different than the natural reaction of wanting to preserve one's identity.

Quote:
That is again debateable. Christianity is a Judaic religion and originated in the Middle East, not Europe.
I don't believe I ever contested the origins of Christianity. Rather, I simply stated that the foundations of European values are primarily Christian. There is much evidence for this right here in the various posts within Stirpes.

It was probably wrong of me to speak so broadly. Christianity is the foundation of my nation and that's what I am concerned with first and foremost.

Quote:
Sure it helped unify Europe, but what at what expense?
I am of the mind that it did more than unify Europe. I believe it also defined Europe as a cultural and religious entity which separated it from the likes of Judaism and Islam, and the rest of the world for that matter.

Quote:
I will keep my opinions on Christianity to myself for now as they are irrelevant to the thread. But as soon as the power of the church waned the Renaissance happened, arguably the period in history in which Europe learned the most. And yes, you'll be happy to know that some of the great thinkers in the Renaissance practiced homosexuality too.
What makes you think that their homosexuality is of importance to me? Time and time again, despite having told you previously that knowing about one's homosexuality is the last thing I'm interested in, you continue to point it out as being of importance.

Again, while I am certainly opposed to all homosexuality - public or not - so long as it remains private, there's little that can be done about it.

Quote:
If you choose to base your perceptions of modern homosexuality on a book that was written thousands of years ago then that really is a shame. You should try and do some thinking for yourself every once in awhile.
It's not so much about the religion itself. Perhaps I was unclear about this before.

I'm actually not especially religious. But that doesn't mean I will spit on the graves of my ancestors who died fending off Muslims in their portion of Christendom by supporting such anti-Christian sentiments.

Quote:
Again, why are you so disturbed by homosexuals?
You know, recently there was one such 'gay pride' parade in the city I currently live in. Aside from the vulgar displays that were actually at the parade itself, some of these scenes were shown on the news which my much younger cousin and I happened to be watching.

Would you not be disturbed by such things?

Quote:
Extreme measures? Hah! That's rich. Last time that happened was in the 1970s when homosexuality was still classed as a mental illness. Homosexuals were locked in a room, given homoerotic pornography and injected with a vomit-inducing serum. The idea was to try and instill a recurring sense of disgust when they thought of naked men. And guess what? It didn't work. It's called aversion therapy, you should look it up.
Actually I was thinking more along the lines of prison time or perhaps deportation.

I merely wish to have an environment that is not so hospitable for homosexuals and one that doesn't encourage their antics, which would in turn discourage homosexuals from being so overzealous about their sexual orientation.

Quote:
How do you make the leap from failing to identify homosexuality as unacceptable to going against the foundations of Europe and thus Europe itself?!
Because, from my perspective, they are all closely related which has been explained in my posts.

Quote:
I made it clear already that Christianity was not the foundation of Europe. Hellenic and Romance civilization were and they both condoned homosexuality in some way. Get your facts straight.
And I have contested this. As I said, the evidence can be found here at Stirpes in the various posts around this site.

As I said before, it was probably wrong of me to speak about Europe when there are certain nations I really know very little about. In the future I'll be sure to speak only from my perspective as a Portuguese.

Quote:
Don't compare European homosexuals with Muslims and Africans.
Why not? Both are equally threatening to the traditional European family and the traditional values of my countrymen.

Quote:
They speak the same language, eat the same food and have the same values as other Europeans.
I've met Africans who can speak Portuguese better than I can, and who probably like Portuguese food as much as they like Portuguese women. What's your point?

In regards to having the same values, I fail to see how a homosexual would have the same values as my family and I. By all means, explain.

Quote:
They are not detracting from the culture and they are not bothering anyone other than latent homosexuals and religious bigots.
Public homosexuality isn't an obstruction to the culture of a nation which is entirely tied to Christianity? Really?

And I'm neither a 'latent homosexual' nor a 'religious bigot' - are such baseless insults necessary?
