Yes, it's really preposterous to draw such generalized conclusions about the characteristics of an entire nation on a basis of such few incidents.
And as for Europeanness or not of Armenians, I think they can hardly be called European. I mean, I have nothing against them, on the contrary, I have certain sympathy for them in the light of what they had to suffer in the past (various Turkish and other Muslim's invasions, genocide), but I don't think they can be classified as Europeans. They have and ancient Christian culture, surely, but also do Iraqi Christians.
