[Marcus Marulus]

It is an old view of the Catholic Church, ie. being the only true Church. The doctrine is age-old and wasn't even rejected by the Second Vatican Council. Only it wasn't talked about it that much by the Church authorities in the last decade.

Maybe that's the only reason why it seems to be some fuss about it now...
