Of course not. Given the materialism they have they would never revolt. People always in the U.S. talk about Iraq being a new Vietnam, but that analogy is wrong because Vietnam was a cataclyst to get American youth to revolt now Americans especially the youth are too materialistic, stupid and lazy to do anything like that. They might revolt if conscription was introduced, but every one knows it won't be (although I'm pretty sure 90% of American youth do not know how to spell conscription, and that an even smaller number don't know what it is).
The only similarity between Iraq and Vietnam is America is losing against smaller snf relatively inexperienced guerillas and that some in America want to push the conflict into neighbouring states.
