I never said they did, I'm just saying they were here, both Vikings and other germanic tribes. As for any noticeable impact well perhaps only "exotic nordics" we see around here. Though I believe the nordic phenotype which is seen sometimes is of more recent origin I can't say for sure.

Does the I haplogroup pertain only to nordic phenotypes?
