There will have to be a mass of dicoveries and a critical mass of proofs and interpretative scholarship , outnumbering contemporary knowledge, before a consensus of a different opinion can be formed.

This sure conceals an afro-centrist agenda as this claim will most surelly followed by the claim "ancient egyptians were black" (I don't deny that some congoid blood was involved in ancient Egypt, though I doubt at hte level claimed by Afro-centrist) and then the now quite old claim that "greeks stole their phylosophy from black Egyptians" and hence being Afros the founders of Western Civilisation.
Thoug Egypt was a great civilisation I doubt it had any influence on ours, My point of view is that we owe much more to ancient Sumeria than to Ancient Egypt
Moreover if the discussion is about medecine this people is obviously ignoring much about european neolithic archaeology.
A megalithic tomb in Marne, France, has provided with a skull of an individual who had a tripanation operation and bone growing rings around the trepanated area shows that he lived for 10 years more after the operation. The tomb and the skull was dated back to 4000 BC....just keep in mind that Keops pyramid was built by 2600 BC and the appearence first mythic kings of Egypt ("Scorpio", "Crorcodile" aetc) do not go prior to 3800 BC
