Liberalism is a materialistic ideology that, in my own opinion, isn’t compatible with the struggle for prosperous societies – regardless if you are a follower of the night watchman state or any other liberalistic idea. If the society encourages individualism and egoism (and the free market economy), the stubborn opportunist will, of course, try to make an excellent carrier, while the regular people (who aren’t in possession of the necessary leader qualities and other competences) will be left behind. This will only create a massive class-society. Furthermore, liberalism hasn’t got the ability to solve major issues – like crime, environmental problems and immigration.
