A crowd of three hundreed chinese immigrants has assailed a police patrol trying to arrest a chnese woman that had pushed an agent dring a control and was refusing arrest. The chinese rallied through the town waving chinese flags, and assaulting an italian woman who had protested their initiative. The gesture was premeditated after weeks of tensions between metropolitan police, who was trying to apply city laws, and the unruly residents of what is called without emphasis Chinatown.
