The "UK" is hardly an example, especially if we consider that it is being used to separate a part of Northern Ireland from the rest of Ireland for good.
In the case of Spain, the system of autonomies is asymmetrical and chaotic. The devolution of the old charters (
Fueros) should be the same for all the territories of the nation.
