Of course, it would seem that the whole situation has been completely under-reported. From what I understand, the entire neighbourhood is under complete lock-down. Its more than mere hooliganism. When Van Gogh died, there was a lot of unrest. I think the press is being 'responsible' and doesn't want to inflame opinions and plunge the country into civil unrest.
