First, let me point out the error..Anglo-Canadians are not Europeans. Unless I am missing something.

To be honest, tell the man to read a history book. Look around this forum for historical examples of achievements of Portugese individuals. You are not the first one to feel this, I have seen several comments being made by anglos about many different Europeans and groups of people in general.
